Purpose of this site
MakeCalcs provides free online calculators for home and garden projects. The calculators estimate material quantities based on the dimensions and parameters you provide. They are intended as planning tools to help you prepare shopping lists and rough cost estimates.
Accuracy disclaimer
Calculator results are estimates, not guarantees. While we source formulas from published standards and manufacturer specifications, the results depend on the accuracy of your inputs and many real-world variables that a calculator cannot account for, including:
